Silverview Volunteers at Atlanta Community Food Bank

The Silverview team volunteered at Atlanta Community Food Bank to help pack 11,583 pounds of food, equating to 10,001 meals for their Atlanta area neighbors in need.

Atlanta Community Food Bank works with nearly 700 community-based partners—including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, shelters, and senior centers—to distribute an average of 10.3 million pounds of food each month, or approximately 9 million+ meals to their neighbors who are food insecure in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia. They are the fourth largest food bank in the country, by distribution volume, and are a member of Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity.
